Multisensory installation about the mysterious nature of Select as a distillate, serving as the culmination of the exhibition journey within Ca’ Select.
The dual-faced structure evokes a sophisticated laboratory dedicated to material transformation and a playful experience.
The Secret Lab celebrates Venice as a realm of recombination: consistently identical yet constantly changing. It exists in a perpetual state of flux, resembling a theatrical stage, shimmering like glass, and moving like the ebb and flow of tides.

THE MACHINE
The Machine
On one side, the structure features the Alchemical Machine. The red liquid goes through various transformation stages, culminating in the dispensing of a miniature Select bottle — reimagined as a magical surprise elixir.
The dynamic section showcases an artistic reinterpretation of the production phases. The fluid movements are triggered as visitors walk by. The static alcoves house scientific glassware and Murano glass pieces, showcasing the elements that make up the spritz, like the olive and the ice.

The Herbarium
The other side of the structure features a unique Herbarium, encompassing the thirty botanicals of the secret recipe.
Visitors are invited to identify the essential ingredients by their scent. Not all plants are revealed; some remain shrouded in mystery.
